The Next Dr. Suess

The other day, Hannah was happily drawing and she informed me that she wanted to write an "original Dr. Suess poem". Since she doesn't know how to spell yet, she asked me to help her spell the words and she would write them down. However, after hearing the length of her poem, I encouraged her to let me write it. Yes, I gave up her having the writing practice, but hey, she will have plenty more opportunities. Anyways, here is the poem:

I bounced and I prounced and I saw that my friend was there. Now I play, I may, I do what I fay. I love my friend. I even love my new, new friend. Please may you be my friend, Snootybought?

Cute poem, Hannah! It is hard to believe that you are almost 5 years old now! Time flies...

I loved your poem, Hannah. Are you going to write a whole book about Snigglebought? I hope so. You are a good writer.
I love you, Nannan
