Cute Trash

What kind of title is that, you may ask. A weird one, I agree, but it fits perfectly with our time in Home Depot today. Matt has been working late recently which means that we get more time with him in the morning so this morning we did a little shopping as a family. One place of "necessity" was Home Depot to buy a new large trash can. Ours was in bad shape and then it just disappeared one day after trash pickup so it was time to get a new one. After choosing a very large, heavy duty can, we decided to put our priceless "possessions" into it - our 2 beautiful children. They were the cutest "trash" ever!!! I was kicking myself for not bringing my camera, which I had thought twice about bringing but saw no reason for at the time. They were picture perfect! To top it all off, Hannah decided to embellish her basic outfit today of a decorative white shirt and capri pants, with purple rain boots, pink sunglasses and a baby bonnet that resembled something worn on Little House and the Prairie. While driving in our van, Matt and I couldn't help but laugh every time we looked at her and Alexa evoked the same response decked out in her dotted sunglasses with her adorable pig tails sticking up from her short hair. Yes, they were picture perfect today, both in the trash can and every time we laid eyes on them. : ) If only I had remembered my camera!
