Hello again! I am hoping that by using this blogspot, I will do a MUCH better job at staying in contact with all of you. I am pretty good at writing thank you notes and Christmas letters, but HORRIBLE at getting them sent! But what good does a letter do you when it never leaves my home?! So we are going to try using the internet to our benefit and see what happens. Before sharing some Easter pictures with you, I just want to give you a very brief overview of the past 6 months. To our disapointment, Matt was deployed to Iraq from November 1, 2006 till March 13. : ( This was a very difficult time for all 4 of us, but also a time of growth for us, especially Hannah. On December 20, the girls and I drove to Montrose, CO (with the help of my father-in-law) where we stayed until Matt returned. Montrose was the perfect place for us to be! We stayed in my Aunt and Uncles guest cottage where we had our own space, but we were super close to family. It was so good to be with my parents and extended family as well as Matt's parents, his sister and her family. We dealt with a lot of sickness, but being with family sure made a difference. : ) Matt's life was pretty predictable with 12 hour shifts with no days off. : ( He is sure glad to be back to the unpredictable life of a random wife and two young children! : ) : )
With all that said, lets get onto the Easter pictures! After church, we spent the day at home. Other than a small indoor Easter egg hunt and an interesting picture shoot of the girls, we just relaxed. We loved it! : ) Here are some of the pictures of the girls that we tried EXTRA hard to get! Hope you enjoy them!

As you can see by the above picture, that the girls were THRILLED by the idea of a picture shoot! But we were able to tag team and get some pretty good shots, but I will let you be the judge of that! : )

Fot those of you who have unfortunately never met our girls, the next pictures are especially for you! You can really see their individual personalities in them.

While trying to photograph a VERY active 1 year old who doesn't want to stay still more than 5 seconds and a 4 year old who only wants to cooperate if the task some how fits into her little princess world, isn't easy, it is definately worth it in the end!

We hope you had a peaceful day enjoying family and friends and the death and resurection of our savior!
